Emma Filippa Harkämper learned Etching from Alexander Mick and Thomas Wahle at the Hochschule Hannover, where she has also been teaching since finishing her degree.
In this printing technique, she combines her way of storytelling through comic with the meditative act of etching, each panel becoming a metal plate, all joining together to create stories of personal relationships and daily life.
